ATMC: More training nets more income for vehicle repair techs

There is a definite correlation between more training for vehicle repair techs and higher income,according to the 2019 ASE Training Managers Council(ATMC)Training Benchmarks survey.The organization released the results of its annual survey during its 45th annu-al conference,April 9-11,in Dallas.Attendees from the transportation training industry represented OEMs,the aftermarket,as well as training vendors,software developers,publishers and industry organizations.During the event,the ATMC unveiled the survey results from more than 4,500 vehicle service personnel to provide insights into the demographics of the workforce and their preferences for,and participation in,training.
