Virginia Tire realigns leadership roles

Virginia Tire & Auto has named Ben Wilson the chief operating officer and Mike and Julie Holmes co-CEOs.Mr.Holmes said the company's recent growth-they have opened two stores this year and plan for two more this fall-created the need for a COO position,and Mr.Wilson was a perfect fit.Mr.Wilson previously was a general manager,overseeing 10 stores and company-wide retail operations.Mr.Wilson started his career at Virginia Tire in 2013 as a call center associate and worked his way up through the organization.Moving forward,current CEO Mr.Holmes and President Ms.Holmes will act as co-CEOs.The husband-and-wife team has been at Virginia Tire for 12 and 9 years,respectively,carrying on the legacy started by Ms.Holmes’parents,Myron and Carole Boncarosky,who founded the com-pany in 1976.
