Mechel and JFE Extend Metallurgical Coal Contract by 3 Years

On June 7 local time, Mechel OAO, a major metals and resource company in Russia extended the metallurgicalcoal supply contract with JFE Steel Corporation by 3 years.The contract period is 3 years from July 2018 to June 2021, and Mechel will supply 1.5Mtpa of metallurgical coalto JFE Steel during this period.
