Niihama LNG Terminal to be Operated by Five Japanese Companies

A Japan-based LNG import terminal development project in Niihama, Ehime Prefecture is expected to be operatedby five Japanese companies including local gas company Shikoku Gas. Four companies — Tokyo Gas EngineeringSolutions (TGES), Sumitomo Chemical, Sumitomo Joint Electric Power and Shikoku Electric Power — started talksabout the project in May 2017.
