Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. (hereinafter ‘Mitsubishi’, President: Mr. Motoyuki Sato), announced on December27 that Mitsubishi makes PT. JATIM TAMAN STEEL MFG (hereinafter ‘JATIM’, an affiliated company accountedfor by the equity-method in Indonesia, into consolidated subsidiary. Mitsubishi plans to in crease the ratio of contributionfrom the recent 35.4% to 56.2% by investing Y 3.16 billion. Mitsubishi plans to conclude contract on January 8, andcomplete the transfer of shares on January 29.
