Japan’s Tokyo Gas, Toho Gas to Purchase LNG from LNG Canada PJ

Japan’s Tokyo Gas and Toho Gas announced on 10th that they have decided to purchase LNG from the CanadabasedLNG Canada project. They signed Heads of agreements (HOAs) with Diamond Gas International (DGI), asubsidiary of one of the project participants Mitsubishi Corporation. Pursuant to the agreements, Tokyo Gas will buy up toeight cargoes (about 600,000 mt) annually over 13 years from April 2026, Toho Gas up to four cargoes (about 300,000 mt)annually over 15 years from April 2024.
