JFE Steel, CSIRO Agree on Joint Research for Ironmaking Raw Materials

JFE Steel announced on 17 June that the company and Australia's national science agency Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) had signed a joint research agreement last month with aims to encourage activities in the area of characterization and agglomeration of raw materials for blast furnace ironmaking. Going forward, the two parties will further collaborate to undertake world-leading initiatives in the area through the exchange of researchers and joint research activities using their research facilities in a flexible and speedy manner.
