Daido Steel’s Apr-Sep Ordinary Profit Declines by 22% to Y 13.7 Bil

Daido Steel Co announced its consolidated financial results in April-September 2019 on October 31. They were Y 252,476 million in sales, down by 6.4% from the same period of a year ago; Y 13,711 million in operating profit, down by 18.2% ditto; Y 13,711 million in ordinary profit, down by 22.0% ditto; and Y 11,257 million in profit attributable to owners of parent, up by 4.6% ditto. The sales and the profits on an ordinary profit basis declined from that of the same period of a year ago. The ratio of ordinary profit to sales (ROS) declined to 5.4%, down by 1.1% ditto.
