Baosteel May Raise Domestic Tinplate Price for Mar Shipments by 100 CNY

China's Baoshan Iron & Steel (Baosteel) is reportedly poised to notify its customers of its domestic price oftinplate steel for March shipments in the next few days. So far, it is likely to offer a month-on-month (m/m) markup of 50-100 CNY ($7-15), targeting $100. Baosteel has already disclosed its steel prices for Feb-Mar shipments, with the pricesfor February kept unchanged, while those for March with a 50 CNY markup on some products including hot-rolled steelcoil (HRC) and cold-rolled steel (exceptions: grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and some others).
