Allegiance Coal Signs Coal Transportation Contract with UP

Australian Allegiance Coal Limited announced on April 1 that it signed a rail freight transportation contract for coal with an U.S. major company, Union Pacific Railroad (UP). As a result, Allegiance Coal will transport metallurgical coal produced in the New Elk Metallurgical Coal Project by railway. New Elk metallurgical coal will be transported to Pasadena Deepwater Coal Terminal in Port of Houston or Port Guaymas in northern Mexico.
