FSRU 'BW Magna' Docks at Port of Acu in Brazil

“BW Magna,” a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), docked at the LNG import terminal at the Port of Acu in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The FSRU was employed by Norway BW under a long-term 23-year charter deal with Gas Natural Acu (GNA) advancing an LNG to Power project at the port that plans to operate from LNG receiving to power generation. After the planned commissioning phase, the vessel will start operations as a fuel receiving facility for a power plant that will be launched in 2021.
