S. Korea’s Import & Export of Main Ferroalloys in July 2020

South Korea’s foreign trade statistics shows the import volume of main ferroalloys in July 2020 was 64,165 tons, up by 22.7% from the prior month. The export volume in July was 15,787 tons, down by 39.1% from the prior month. The breakdown of ferro silicon (Si>55%) imports at 12,985 tons in July by major sources is as follows: China at 8,944 tons; Russia at 2,274 tons; Malaysia at 788 tons; Brazil at 518 tons; Norway at 139 tons; Netherlands at 112 tons; Kazakhstan at 84 tons; South Africa at 60 tons; India at 36 tons; France at 20 tons; and Thailand at 10 tons. The import details of main ferroalloys are as shown in Table 1 and the export details in Table 2 respectively.
