According to China’s trade statistics, China’s pig iron (HS code: 7201 total) imports totaled 489,000 tons in July, up significantly by 954.1% from the same month a year ago, in which 46,000 tons were imported. July’s imports decreased by 24.4% from a month ago, which marked a monthly record high, but they marked the second highest amount following June’s imports.
