GasLog Starts Charter Deal for LNG Vessel with JERA

Monaco-headquartered LNG shipping company GasLog on 12th announced that a charter deal for an LNG vessel with Japan’s JERA has started. A 180,000-cbm “GasLog Wales” constructed in Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) was taken delivery on 11th this month and the vessel was deployed to the 12-year charter deal (until 2032) with JERA. GasLog Wales is the second of GasLog’s seven LNG vessels it placed orders with SHI.
