EIA Raises Forecast about Coal Production by 900,000 ST

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of USA forecasts in the short-term energy outlook announced on August 11 local time that the coal production volume in 2020 will be 502.2 million short tons (ST). Since the forecast about the coal production volume as of July was 501.3 million ST, the numerical number was revised upward by 900,000 ST from the one in the prior month.
