According to a source, negotiations over 400,000 tonnes of UO steel pipes for Qatar may begin as early as summer 2020. The Qatari government has earlier announced a plan to increase its already-largest-in-the-world production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from 77 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) to 100 Mtpa, and seems to be turning it into action now.
