According to India’s trade statistics, India’s ferrous scrap (HS code: 7204 total) imports totaled only 303,000 tons in June, down by as much as 50.4% from the same month a year ago. As a reaction to a high imported amount of 780,000 tons in May, imports in June significantly declined by 61.2% from that in May.
