Cameron LNG Terminal Resumes LNG Shipment

LNG shipping from the Cameron LNG terminal appears to have resumed. According to maritime traffic information, “SK Audace” departed the terminal on 5th, which was the first LNG vessel since the terminal had stopped shipping in end-August due to power transmission failures caused by Hurricane Laura. Hurricane Laura made landfall in the Louisiana state, the site of the Cameron terminal, on August 27th. Damage of the terminal facilities was slight but Entergy’s power transmission lines to the terminal were hit devastatingly, and LNG shipment activities had been suspended since then.
