Community-based intervention to effectively diagnose and treat hepatitis C in people who inject drugs

An estimated 15 million people in the European Region,1 and more than 200,000 in the UK,2 are living with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV). HCV infection is known to be most common in people who inject drugs (PWIDs), therefore, treatment to prevent onwards transmission in this patient group is particularly important.
