A day in the life of an ambulance service pharmacist

Two years ago I began working at I the North West Ambulance Service JL (NWAS) in a pilot project led by the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Community Medicines Optimisation Service. The project aimed to explore the role of pharmacists in the urgent care setting. Our role has evolved since then, and pharmacists are now an integral part of the team at NWAS.
