NEW NPA CHAIR PROMPTS BOARD MEMBER TO RESIGN

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) has elected a new chair, prompting a longstanding member of its board to resign in protest. Mike Hewitson, who sat on the NPA board for eight years, resigned with immediate effect on 23 April 2018 after what he described as "the election of a vertically integrated wholesaler" to the post of NPA chair.
