RPS joins London Pride parade for first time

Staff and members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society(RPS)marched alongside more than 30,000 people in the Pride in London Parade,held in the capital on 6 July 2019.It was the first time the Society has joined the parade,which was the culmination of a month-long celebration of London’s LGBT+ community.Gareth Kitson,professional development and engagement lead at the RPS,said it was”a real privilege to organise this on behalf of our staff and wider RPS membership".”Pride in London is a visible recognition of the rich diversity within the LGBT+ community and it was wonderful that we could recognise this diversity found within our profession.”
