Prof. Giuseppe Loglio graduated in 1969 from the University of Florence (Italy) as a chemist. Since 1969, he has been active in several lines of research related to static and dynamic properties of liquid/fluid interfacial layers. He is the co-author of about 160 publications. Complete list of publications (1969-2015) and international scientific reputation can be found in various scientific websites and databases (see, for example, http://www.researchgate.net, http://apps.webofknow ledge.com). Essentially, his main scientific interest and expertise encompasses the fields of surface thermodynamics and of interfacial rheology (with applications to foams and emulsions in industrial products, natural waters and oceanography). Particular investigations involve transport phenomena at liquid/fluid interfaces, protein-surfactant interactions, and nanoparticle-surfactant interactions.
