Prof. Ricardo Tucceri graduated in 1978 from the National University of La Plata (Argentina) as Doctor in Chemistry and obtained his Ph.D in 1981. Since 1981, he is active in lines of research related to Electrochemistry (Electrochemical interfaces and electrochemical techniques applied to study different electrode processes). Research efforts go from studies of electrode processes employing fundamental electrochemical techniques such as Cyclic Voltammetry and Impedance Spectroscopy to specific ones, such as, Surface Resistance. Some of these techniques have been successfully employed for the first time to study the conducting properties of electroactive polymers. More than 70 peer reviewed papers and 130 meeting presentations have been published by Dr. R. Tucceri and his group. Actually Dr. Tucceri is principal researcher of the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the National University of la Plata (Argentina) and he is director of the project: Synthesis, Conducting properties and Applications of Macromolecular Substances with biological interest.
