Gid and False Gid Infections in a Herd of Beetal Goats

摘要

The present investigation highlighted the cause of mortality of two bucks in a herd of beetal goats, reared at farm of Veterinary Polytechnic and Regional Research Training Centre, Kaljharani, Bathinda, Punjab. Both the bucks exhibited the signs of nervous involvement and were kept under regular monitoring, but succumbed to infections. The detailed necropsy revealed the presence of Coenuruscerebralisin one buck, whereas larvae of Oestrusovis in other buck.
