Internal Hydrocephalus with Congenital Deformities in a Crossbred Jersey Heifer - A Case Report

A two year four months old Jersey cross heifer at full term pregnancy was presented with a history of dystocia. During per vaginal examination, the cervix was dilated with the foetus in anterior longitudinal presentation, dorso-sacral position with both the forelimbs in the pelvic cavity and marked enlargement of the cranium and diagnosed as dystocia due to foetal hydrocephalus. Dead foetus was delivered by forced traction.
