Clinical Management of a Buffalo Suffering from Dropsy of Fetal MembranesAssociated with Fetal Dropsy

A pluriparous buffalo with distended abdomen, having gestation over by one month and no approaching sign of parturition, was presented. After confirming dropsical condition in dam, pregnancy was terminated. During delivery, dystocia occurred due to fetaldropsy, which was treated using obstetrical maneuvers. The animal made an uneventful recovery.
