Hoegh LNG Cancels FSRU Charter Contract for GEI’s Pakistan-Based Project

Norway-based shipping company Hoegh LNG announced on November 24 that it has decided to terminate anFSRU charter contract with Global Energy Infrastructure (GEI) for GEI’s Pakistan-based LNG import project. Bothcompanies signed the charter contract in December 2016, but the GEI’s project has delayed significantly and Hoegh LNGtherefore seems to have found it difficult to continue the contract.
