摘要

Genetic transformation of rife has been an important area of research in the past few years. PEG, electroporation, microprojectile bombardment, and Agrobacterium have been used to mediate gene transfer. Genes for insect resistance, fungal resistance, virus resistance, herbicide resistance, bacterial resistance and nematode resistance have been utilized in rice transformation. The methods involved, the genes utilized and the promoters used in rice transformation along with integration and expression of trans-genes are discussed in this review. [References: 117]
