WES Exports 36% out of Curragh Metallurgical Coal to Japan

It has turned out that 36% of the volume of Curragh metallurgical coal in the State of QLD Wesfarmers Limited(WES), Australia sold in FY2016/17 (one year ending 30 June 2017) was exported to Japan.As the sales volume of Curragh metallurgical coal in FY2016/17 was 8.162 million tons, a bit below 3 million tonsof coal was exported to Japan. In addition to Japan, this coal was exported to South Asia (30% of the sales volume), toNorth Asia (22%), to Europe (8%) and so on. Hence, the ratio of the exports to Asia including Japan reaches 88%.
