The Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) announced on July 4th that Saudi Aramco has decided to replace thePlatts Oman, one of its crude oil benchmark prices for Asia, with the DME Oman.The replacement is planned in October 1st, 2018 and after that Saudi Aramco will use the Platts Dubai and DMEOman for its selling price of crude oil for Asia.
