Golar’s FLNG Hilli Episeyo Begins Commercial Operation in Cameroon

Norway-based shipping company Golar LNG announced Monday on 4th local time that its floating LNG (FLNG)“Hilli Episeyo” that has been employed to a Cameroon-based LNG project has commenced commercial operation. TheFLNG is the world’s first converted FLNG that was converted from Golar LNG’s existing LNG vessel “Hilli,” which willbe employed to the Kribi Field in Cameroon for eight years until the third quarter of 2025.
