Two Sabine Pass LNG Storage Tanks Ordered to be Shut Down Due to Leaks

Two LNG storage tanks at the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal have been shut down. Sabine Pass Liquefaction (SPL)submitted a report on the LNG leaks of the two tanks to Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA)and PHMSA ordered SPL to shut down the two tanks. Resumption date of the two tanks is yet to be decided, but theterminal’s LNG import and export are being carried out smoothly by using the remaining tanks and facilities.
