Xcoal Energy & Resources Exports Baralaba PCI Coal for First Time

On October 31 local time, Xcoal Energy & Resources GmbH (Xcoal), USA made it clear that the Company exported LV PCI coal produced at Baralaba North coal mine in the State of QLD, Australia for the first time. Baralaba North coal mine is an open-cut metallurgical coal mine in the Bowen Basin in the State of QLD and located about 5 km to the north of Baralaba City. The type of coal produced is LV PCI coal meant for a steel manufacturing company. The interest in this coal mine is wholly owned by Baralaba Coal Company Pty Ltd. The coal production at Baralaba North coal mine started in May 2014, and 725,000 tons of saleable coal was produced in 2015 and 789,000 tons of coal was sold.
