Golar LNG Awarded Rights to Supply FSRU Vessel to Croatia

LNG shipping firm Golar LNG has got rights to supply a floating, storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to a Croatia-based LNG receiving project. It plans to use an FSRU to be converted from its existing LNG carrier, which will be launched as LNG import terminal in January 2021. Golar LNG participated in the tender conducted by Croatia LNG, which operates the receiving project, through Golar Power, a joint venture with US Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, overcame Mitsui O.S.K. Line and Maran Gas, and won the highest score.
