Anglo American plc produced 22.852 million tons (based on its interest holding portion, and the same applies hereinafter) of metallurgical coal in the State of QLD, Australia in 2019, which was up by 1.022 million tons (4.7%) from the prior year. The production volume by coal type was 18.957 million tons of hard coking coal (up by 0.8% from the prior year) and a total of 3.895 million tons of PCI coal and semi-soft coking coal (up by 28.5%), and the production volume of hard coking coal was slightly up from the prior year.
