GIIGNL: Global LNG Trading in 2019 Up 13% to 350 Million MT

According to an annual report by the International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL), global LNG trading volume in 2019 increased by 13% from the previous year to 354.73 million mt. Europe, where domestic production and pipeline gas imports decreased, significantly increased LNG imports, Asia’s imports exceeded last year too, and as a result, the total growth rate topped 10%.
