AMCI will promote Longview metallurgical coal project in West Virginia jointly with ITOCHU Corporation, POSCO, South Korea and so on. Longview metallurgical coal project aims to exploit Longview underground mining area in West Virginia. The interest in this project is wholly owned by North Central Resources LLC (NCR) in which AMCI, etc. made an investment. ITOCHU acquired a 25% membership interest in NCR from AMCI, etc. on 25 December 2019 and decided to participate in Longview metallurgical coal project.
