BP to Leave Three US Trade Associations

UK’s BP announced on 26th local time that it has decided to leave three US-based trade associations as it concluded their climate policies were not aligned with BP’s one after a detailed review. The global oil major’s decision might have no small impact on the global oil market. The three associations are American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) and the Western Energy Alliance (WEA).
