2019 Coal Production at Ovoot Tolgoi Coal Mine in Good Condition

The coal production at Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine in Mongolia operated by SouthGobi Resources Ltd., Canada has been in good condition in the year 2019. In fact, the production volume of raw coal at Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine in the period from January to September in 2019 reached 3.57 million tons, up by 1.1 million tons (44.5%) from the year-earlier period. Besides, the coal sales volume during January to September amounted to 3.75 million tons, up by 880,000 tons (47.1%) from the year-earlier period. The sharp recovery of the coal production volume at Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine and its coal sales volume in the year 2019 results from the fact that the customs procedure for SouthGobi Resources’ coals at Ceke, China having a border with Mongolia has been improved.
