Hoegh LNG and Cheniere Marketing Sign Charter Deal

Norwegian shipping company Hoegh LNG on 12th local time announced that it has signed a charter deal withCheniere Marketing International (Cheniere Marketing), subsidiary of Cheniere Energy. Pursuant to the deal, HoeghLNG will lease a new Floating, Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) “Hoegh Galleon” to be completed this August toCheniere Marketing over the course of 18 months. The new FSRU is planned to work for an Australia-based LNGproject from 2021 as an LNG receiving facility, and will work as an LNG carrier till then.
