Excelon’s Subsidiary Acquires DOE LNG Import Permission

Constellation LNG, a subsidiary of Excelon Corporation, acquired an LNG import permission from the Depart-ment of Energy (DOE). It plans to import a total of 206 Bcf (approximately 4.1 million mt) over 62 months from March2019 to May 2024 mainly at the Evarett LNG terminal.Excelon acquired last September interest in the Evarett terminal in Massachusetts. Since then the terminal isoperated by Excelon and its subsidiary Constellation LNG procures LNG.
