Yancoal Australia Ltd. outstripped its parent company, Yanzhou Coal Mining Limited, China in the coal productionand sale in the year 2018.According to Yanzhou Coal Mining, the saleable coal volume Yancoal Australia produced in the year 2018 reached33.599 million tons (based on its interest holding portion, and the same applies hereinafter), up by 14.333 million tons(74.7%) from the prior year.The production volume by coal type was 87,000 tons of semi-hard coking coal (down by 48.5% from the prioryear), 2.744 million tons of semi-soft coking coal (up by 243.0%), 2.416 million tons of PCI coal (down by 8.7%) and28.352 million tons of thermal coal (up by 81.2%), and the production volumes of semi-soft coking coal and thermal coalwere drastically up.
