India’s Petronet LNG to Join Driftwood LNG Project

India’s Petronet LNG is expected to participate in the US-based Driftwood LNG project. The Company signed amemorandum of understanding (MOU) with Tellurian to purchase stake in the project. For Petronet LNG, this would bethe first US-based LNG project.The news was revealed on 14th local time by Tellurian, which is progressing the US-based project. Meg Gentle,President and CEO of Tellurian said on the deal with the India’s largest LNG import firm, “We support Petronet’s visionto be a key energy provider to India,” showing willingness to the cooperation.
