Thiess Extends MS Contract for Curragh Coal Mine

On September 13, CIMIC Group Limited, Australia announced that its subsidiary, Thiess Pty. Ltd. signed an extended contract with Coronado Global Resources Inc., USA with regard to the mining service (MS) for Curragh coal mine in the State of QLD. The contract period is 6 years and the contracted amount is a total of A1.3 billion. Curragh coal mine is a large-scale open-cut coal mine in the Bowen Basin in the State of QLD and located 30 km to the north of Blackwater.
