Mechel to Supply 720,000 Tons of Metallurgical Coal to Jiangsu Sha Steel

On August 8, Mechel OAO, a major metals and resource company in Russia announced that it concluded a supplycontract for metallurgical coal with China’s major steel maker, Jiangsu Sha Steel Group Co., Ltd.The contract period is one year from September 2019 to August 2020. During this period, Mechel will supply720,000 tons of metallurgical coal produced in the Sakha Republic by its subsidiary, Yakutugol Holding Company AO toJiangsu Sha Steel.
