On July 25 local time, Arch Coal Inc., USA made clear its intention to advance the time to start a longwall (LW)mining operation at Leer South mining area, a new metallurgical coal mining area in West Virginia to the third quarter (July- September) of 2021.According to the existing plan, the time to start a LW mining operation at Leer South mining area was the fourthquarter (October - December) of 2021.Leer South mining area is an underground mining area adjoining the south side of Leer underground coal mineArch Coal is now operating, and the coal reserves are about 200 million tons.
