EKPC cuts volumes delivered under coal contracts

East Kentucky Power Cooperative has notified five suppliers that it is reducing delivered volumes to the coop’s Spurlock and Gilbert units by up to 20% from base monthly delivery amounts, beginning July 1. Alliance Coal will see reduced by 20% the coal volumes delivered to Spurlock Power Station units, under three different contracts, according to Kentucky Public Service Commission documents.
