Rosebud continues to feed Colstrip units under 6-year pact

Westmoreland Rosebud Mining LLC will continue as dedicated supplier of the remaining two Colstrip Generating Station units under a new, six-year contract, the coal producer announced Thursday. The new coal supply agreement “aligns with the needs of the regulated ownership group and will continue to enable Units 3 and 4 to operate reliably, as they have since 1983,” Westmoreland stated. “The new CSA will take effect on January 1, 2020 and continue through to at least the end of 2025.”
