Singapore —Seaborne metallurgical coal prices to Asia divergedMonday as CFR China prices continued to gain strength on PLV demand.S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol coal down 75 centsfrom Friday at $219.25/mt FOB Australia, while the CFR China markerrose $1.50/mt over the same period to $217.50/mt.Three trades for 85,000 mt cargoes of Premium Low Vol (PLV)Saraji were done Friday at $217.50/mt CFR China for Novemberloading, $218.50/mt CFR China for December loading and $213.50/mtCFR China for January loading. All three came with sellers option todeliver PLV Peak Downs at $219/mt CFR China for November loading,$220/mt CFR China for December loading and $215/mt CFR China forJanuary loading.
